Connecting to check SSL certificate…
What is SSL/TLS?
SSL/TLS certificates encrypt the connection between your website and visitors. The padlock in the browser address bar means an SSL certificate is active. Without it, any data visitors submit — login credentials, payment info, contact forms — can be intercepted in transit.
TLS 1.2 and 1.3 are the only secure versions. Older versions (TLS 1.0, 1.1) have known vulnerabilities and are deprecated by modern browsers. Self-signed certificates aren't trusted by browsers and will show a scary warning that drives visitors away.
