What is SPF?
SPF (Sender Policy Framework) is a DNS record that lists which mail servers are authorized to send email from your domain. When someone receives an email claiming to be from your company, their mail server checks your SPF record to verify the sender is legitimate.
Without SPF, anyone can send email pretending to be from your domain — a common technique used in business email compromise (BEC) attacks that cost small businesses billions of dollars annually.
